We take pride in our approach to the remodeling process.  Our goal is to make the process as easy and enjoyable for you as possible.  We put plenty of thought and consideration into every step of the way so that you don’t have to.  Our design/build company works with a team mentality to provide you with a beautiful, functional, and complete finished product.

We use architects, kitchen designers, bath designers, interior designers, color consultants, and a project coordinator to orchestrate it all.  In addition, your field supervisor knows how to anticipate challenges and create new solutions while expertly managing your schedule and supervising the carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, and other highly skilled craftsmen. We've got all your bases covered!

The Main Cast

•  Alex Nesenjuk, President and CEO.  Responsible for the overall construction, financial, and sales activities of the company. A

business executive with over 25 years experience in business

development, finance, and sales, Alex became first involved in

construction as a young carpenter apprentice in Milltown’s United

Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners. After completing various marketing and development assignments in the corporate world, he returned to homebuilding and started his own private construction company, Gandalf Ventures in 2001, turned it public in 2002, and then created a second home design & remodeling company, Gandalf Restorations, in 2005. Always recognizing the importance of a satisfied customer, Alex continually strives to ensure that each homeowner receives nothing but the best possible workmanship and service in every project. Valued by colleagues and past clients as a

recognized producer of high-quality work, Alex is committed to a

standard of excellence seldom matched by his competitors.

• Mike Mroz, Project Coordinator. Before Mike joined Gandalf Restorations in 2006, he worked on numerous additions, renovations, and historical restorations.  He is responsible for project production, organization, and client satisfaction.  Mike oversees all aspects of every project from start to finish while keeping the client involved and informed.   Mike graduated from Valparaiso University with a BA in Business and Sports Management and came from a background in the construction trade.  He worked during summers for Anthony James in Westfield, NJ as a framing carpenter and then for Kara Homes after he graduated as a field supervisor, building new homes and communities all over the state of New Jersey.  Mike made the transition from new construction to renovations and restorations in 2006 when he realized he valued the conversations and experience he gleaned from dealing one-on-one with homeowners. He has since been instrumental in helping Gandalf Restorations transform houses into beautiful dream homes. 

• Ian Piccione, Field Supervisor. Responsible for insuring quality

work, implementation, and timely completion of our projects.

Manages daily jobsite activities with various construction trades

and maintains continual communication updates with our

homeowners. Not only is Ian a well-seasoned carpenter but he

has also spent 3 years volunteering his skills to Habitats for

Humanity. A joyful asset to the company, our clients couldn’t be

more pleased with his efforts in providing a no-stress construction

experience.

• Azzam Ezmat, Field Supervisor. Responsible for insuring quality

work, implementation, and timely completion our projects. In

addition to devoting his life to construction management and

operations, Azzam is one of the few field supervisors in the state

who is a certified Kitchen Designer with a heavy focus on material

selection and balancing the aesthetic aspects of remodeled

kitchens and baths. His training and practical experience enables

him to create the right ambience and style at affordable prices.

Our clients continually appraise his talents in every design layout

he does. 

• Sarah Nesenjuk, Marketing/Sales Representative. Responsible

for developing and enhancing Gandalf Restorations’ web presence

as well as it’s direct marketing campaigns, sales leads generation,

and new marketing strategies. Sarah graduated from New York’s

Parsons School of Design. She is always on the forefront in

developing new ways to reach our client base.
